How we compare
Who runs this site?
Holster-Vergleich is run by Liquid LLC and is an offering of the Holster brand. All varieties on this site are Holster products and are labelled as “Editorial recommendation (Holster)”. Full details of the operator can be found in the imprint.
Where does the data come from?
All information comes from Holster: variety name, product type, pack sizes or nicotine strengths. The origin statement “made in Germany” only applies to the shisha tobacco. The data date is shown on every page under “Last updated”. We do not carry out our own measurements.
How are the varieties sorted?
The varieties appear alphabetically by variety name. The assignment to flavour profiles is based on the variety name and the manufacturer’s description and is checked by the editorial team. A variety can belong to several profiles.
What do ✓, – and “not specified” mean?
- ✓ The information is available and applies.
- – The information is available and does not apply.
- not specified The manufacturer provides no information on this. We do not estimate values and never equate missing information with “no”.
Relationship to the comparison sites
Holster-Vergleich is the overview of the Holster brand. Detailed variety profiles and comparisons with other brands are on the individual comparison sites, for example for shisha tobacco and for liquids.
Images
We only show photos of the original packaging or manufacturer images that we have checked beforehand. We do not use images with watermarks, retailer logos or advertising overlays. If no checked image is available, the product does not appear in the comparison. Mandatory warnings on packaging remain unchanged.
What we do not do
We do not award points, grades or placements and do not rate products of other brands. There are no prices and no links to retailers.
